About Me

Hi there, I’m Yuval.

I was born and raised in Israel, in a rural area, on a Kibbutz. I enjoy traveling and exploring the world, and over the years I was fortunate enough to live short and long term in France, US, UK, and Japan.

My photography journey started quite late in life, in 2016, when a talented photographer I met inspired me to capture beautiful moments. I remember looking at his photos and thinking “I wish I could do that too!”.

Not too long after that, I bought a (professional looking) camera and embarked on my own journey in photography. I had taken some photos before, with simple point-and-shoot cameras, but had no idea how difficult it might get once I step outside the auto-mode realm. Boy how little did I know.

I started off by photographing places I went to and everything within them, and soon enough I started focusing on my own personal interest, like dance and movement, portraits, various sports, and people out and about doing their thing.

Each photoshoot and interaction helped me shape my style, expand my understanding of the art, and improve my skills, while realizing how little I knew and how much more there was (and still is) to learn.

I’ve been extremely lucky to meet amazingly kind and talented people who believe in me and what I do. Their support pushes me to achieve more and further improve my skills.
